Frequently Asked Questions

What if I can’t reach you in an emergency?
We provide a 24-hour emergency phone contact for travelers to use during their trips. This number ensures you can access assistance with any travel issues around the clock. If we are temporarily unavailable, your cruise line or tour operator also offers support to help manage your situation.

What does travel protection cover? Is it worth the cost?
Travel insurance is essential for protecting your investment. It covers trip cancellation penalties, lost or damaged baggage, emergency evacuation, and unexpected medical expenses not covered by your primary health insurance. It can also provide benefits for job loss, emergency travel home, and other unforeseen events, potentially saving you significant expenses.

How far in advance can I book flights for my cruise or tour?
Airfare can often be booked up to 11 months in advance. We diligently research the best sources to secure the lowest available fares for your travel dates.

What currency should I bring on my trip?
We recommend using a credit card internationally to benefit from favorable exchange rates and fraud protections. However, it’s also important to carry local currency for tipping and small expenses. U.S. dollars are widely accepted in many destinations, but having local currency is always helpful.

I don’t live in Rochester. Can you assist me with reservations?
Absolutely! We serve clients nationwide and in Canada. With current technology, communication is seamless, and your travel documents can be sent electronically or by mail, based on your preference.

How will I know what I need for my trip?
